We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of five years' post-graduate experience to develop as an asset lifecycle specialist covering all High Voltage substation primary assets from MV to 400 kV. The Lifecycle Team in Transmission and Distribution Engineering is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining best practice lifecycle processes across multiple business units encompassing Asset Management, Specification, Operation & Maintenance, Project Delivery, Environmental and Innovation areas. In support of ESB’s strategic objectives of decarbonising electricity, building resilient infrastructure and empowering clients, you will provide technical expertise and support to key stakeholders such as ESB Networks, ESB Generation and Trading, Engineering and Major Projects. The Lifecycle specialist team collaborates with international utilities and manufacturers and provides expert guidance to external bodies such as Eurelectric, CIGRE, Government Departments, Eirgrid as required to affect cultural change, improve efficiencies and achieve regulatory compliance.
