About this role

<p><strong>Purpose of the role</strong></p> <p>Ensure the quality of products and processes within the plant, guaranteeing compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications, through effective control of production processes, management of non-conformities, and promotion of continuous improvement.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Quality Governance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and certifications (ISO, BRC, customer audits)</li> <li>Guarantee the achievement of plant quality objectives</li> <li>Responsibility for product release/hold decisions</li> <li>Promote a quality culture and adherence to rules</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Process &amp; Quality Control Data</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate quality control activities and production monitoring, manage quality KPIs</li> <li>Ensure process stability and compliance with standards</li> <li>Oversee HFI data, raw materials, and in-process controls</li> <li>Analyze quality data and deliver structured reporting</li> <li>Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Non-Conformities &amp; Complaints</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage internal non-conformities in real time by entering the quality database</li> <li>Analyze customer complaints (RCPS, analysis)</li> <li>Ensure traceability and manage complaint databases <strong><br></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Equipment &amp; Technical Control <br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure proper utilization, calibration of instruments and metrology compliance</li> <li>Supervise quality control equipment and maintenance activities</li> <li>Define operating standards and instructions</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Continuous Improvement </strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead quality improvement projects</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering)</li> <li>Promote standardization and best practices</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>Team &amp; Stakeholder Management </strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop the quality team</li> <li>Ensure proper NC handling and sorting activities</li> <li>Optimize resources and organization</li> <li>Manage relationships with R&amp;D, quality functions, and internal stakeholders</li> <li>Collaborate with Production on quality and training</li> <li>Support audits and cross-functional activities</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Training &amp; Capability </strong></p> <ul> <li>Organize training on quality and product hygiene</li> <li>Develop competencies and manage the skill matrix</li> <li>Strengthen quality culture</li> <li>Design the local quality training materials </li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Education </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or related field </li> <li>Additional qualifications in Quality Management, Food Safety, or Industrial Processes are a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Professional Experience </strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality within a manufacturing/industrial environment</li> <li>Proven experience in: Quality Management Systems (ISO, GMP, audits) - Process control and product quality assurance - Non-conformity management and root cause analysis</li> <li>Experience in leading or coordinating quality teams in a plant environment </li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Technical Experience knowledge of </strong></p> <ul> <li>Quality tools and methodologies (SPC, HARA, root cause analysis) - Data analysis and KPI management - Quality control equipment and metrology <br>Familiarity with continuous improvement approaches and cross-functional projects </li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Language </strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluent French &amp; English</li> </ul>
