<p style="text-align:justify"><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Job Summary:</span></strong></p><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">We are seeking a safety-driven, hands-on, and technically skilled Electrical and Mechanical Supervisor to lead our electrical / controls team and mechanics team in a high-speed, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical automation, and control systems across the plant. The Electrical and Mechanical Supervisor will oversee a team of Electricians, Electro-Mechanical Technicians and Mechanics, drive continuous improvement in electrical/PLC systems, and serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and emergency response — anytime, day or night.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Job Duties:</span></strong></p><ul><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work in accordance with all safety regulations and safe job procedures, standard work processes, BRC food safety initiatives, good manufacturing practices, and product quality requirements at all times.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead, train, and develop Maintenance Team Members, supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Electricians, Mechanics and Electro-Mechanical Technicians.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Foster a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Enforce NEC, OSHA, and plant-specific safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and high-voltage procedures.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Diagnose and repair complex mechanicals, electrical and control system issues in high-speed production and steel-forming equipment.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide hands-on support during equipment failures, startups, shutdowns, and emergencies — 24/7 availability required.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide technical expertise in PLC/HMI programming, process control, and machine automation.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Upgrade legacy systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley PLC-5 to ControlLogix) and fine-tune control systems for optimal performance.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with operations to improve machine reliability and throughput.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Plan and execute mechanical, electrical and automation projects from concept to completion.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Review electrical schematics, blueprints, and specifications for new installations.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate with vendors and contractors for capital projects and equipment upgrades.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure effective control of minimum and maximum stock levels for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) spare parts. Support the MRO team in technical decision-making for purchases and parts selection, while maintaining accurate inventory records. </span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Optimize stock levels to prevent shortages or excess, and guarantee availability of critical components to sustain uninterrupted operations.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Responsible for planning maintenance in mechanical, electrical, and production areas. Conduct periodic audits of the maintenance planning system, generating statistical reports.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain accurate records: work orders, logs, inspections, and documentation.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manage departmental budgets, spare parts inventory, and shop supplies.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Track and report KPIs for electrical and maintenance performance and reliability.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure compliance with internal controls and Trivium core values.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">At all times, actively engage in and live out Trivium’s core values and guiding principles. Be a team member, treat each other with respect and a good </span><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">steward of company resources.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs all other job duties as assigned.</span></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Qualifications and Experience Requirements:</span></strong></p><ul><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">3–5 years as an industrial in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience in steel manufacturing and/or food processing environments highly desirable.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Adept in AC/DC motors, VFDs, pneumatic/electronic instrumentation, and wireless technologies.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience with CMMS systems for work order management.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to thrive under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.</span></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p style="text-align:justify"> </p><p style="text-align:justify"><strong><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work Environment:</span></strong></p><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This position will spend the majority of their time on the manufacturing floor and is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to handle and feel. The team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member may occasionally be required to work in non-permit required confined spaces, unless otherwise trained. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds. There is no continual lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision as well as color recognition. Good hand/eye coordination is necessary. The noise level in that environment is usually very loud. Employees must wear hearing protection and all other assigned Personal Protective Equipment. Temperature can range from extreme cold (<40 degrees) to extreme heat (>90 degrees).
