<p> </p> <p><strong>Role Description</strong><br>The regional IT engineer looks after all Trivium locations in his/her respective region.<br>The Regional IT engineer is the first point of IT contact for all local User questions, both IT and OT related.<br>Primary tasks are to provide support, assist users, support business processes through IT and deliver IT services in accordance with company policies and guidelines.<br>The Regional IT engineer also works actively with central infrastructure, application and security teams as needed. Next to the regional responsibilities, the Regional IT Engineer will actively contribute to / advocate the Trivium Enterprise Architecture as well as Information security Principles. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>• Responsible for providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT and OT services.<br>• Provide general IT support and serve as a single point of contact for multiple locations and users.<br>• Monitors and maintains computer systems.<br>• Act as a key contributor to ensure successful deployment of onsite (IT) projects.<br>• Troubleshoot problems and (as needed) coordinate/assist in remediation activities.<br>• Act as IT contact for communication between the regional users/location and other IT functions.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Qualifications</strong></p> <p>• Good understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and principles (examples network topologies/technologies, Servers and applications) and Onsite setup.<br>• Broad knowledge of supporting Microsoft and its interconnection products (Office 365, OneDrive, Win10, Win11, Active Directory, server 2012-2022, remote desktop, terminal server, virtualization).<br>• Excellent knowledge in supporting hardware (laptops, desktops, mobile phone and printers).<br>• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Entra-ID Broad knowledge of technical best practices to plan and deploy new solutions. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong><br>• Start-up mentality with over 100 years of experience.<br>• A hands-on company where sustainability matters.<br>• Global working environment.<br>• Lean team with knowledgeable and supportive colleagues.<br>• Room to be creative, try new things, and push the envelope.<br>• Winning mentality</p> <p><br><br><strong>Education & Training:</strong><br>• Relevant degree and excellent educational record. Relevant domain certifications<br>• Educational background and experience in IT/OT, Security, and Solution Engineering in Enterprise environments<br>• Strong Dutch / English verbal and written presentation skills<br>• Strong skills in stakeholder management, influencing, and Communication<br>• Requirements management and development<br>• A valid driver's license and ability to travel to all sites within the region when required</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience: </strong><br>• 3+ years of relevant industry experience with a focus in manufacturing environments and systems is preferred.<br>• Experience working in an IT ticketing system such as Fresh Service or ServiceNow is preferred.<br>• Ability to work in a collaborative global team.<br>• Natural problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
