In addition to day-to-day support, this role will also assist the Technical & IT Manager implement various projects. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">First point of contact for all IT related queries, dealing with all staff on the ground in the London office providing an efficient customer service experience.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Purchase IT equipment including obtaining quotations, seeking approvals and completing the ordering process.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Liaise with our external IT support company regarding system and user requests.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Offer PC and Mac support, including software-related queries.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Prepare for New Starters e.g. creating accounts, liaising with Group IT.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Set up PCs, Macs and staff mobile phones.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Assist with meeting room equipment when needed.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Monitor and change backups.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Manage the telephone system including amending data and passwords and coordinating with support.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Install applications e.g., Office365, Group applications, Adobe software.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Manual setup of computers, monitors, telephones, cabling, etc in the office.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Oversee organisation of the IT area e.g., auditing, upgrading and tidying up IT equipment & cabling.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Audit and back up staff mailboxes.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Audit and liaise with staff regarding housekeeping of files and folders.</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:normal;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Assist with ad-hoc UK & Group projects.</li> </ul> 🏆 And what about you ? <ul> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Knowledge of Windows & Microsoft Office applications (plus Mac OS would be preferable)</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Very good communication skills in person and on the telephone</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Ability to prioritise and excellent time management skills</li> <li style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">A passion for IT </li> </ul> 🏡 And what about working from home ?
