Ensures that financial processes are accurate, efficient and in accordance with the current generally accepted accounting principles and MAHLE internal controlling guidelines and standards. Interacts extensively with all functions in the Plant, the Regional Controlling Services team, and the BU2 Regional Controlling team in to ensure proper, timely and accurate information flow and adherence to quality, standards, and timelines.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"> </p> <ul> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Assists in the development and implementation of the Controlling Department's targets, projects, policies, procedures, methods and controls.</span></li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Analyzes financial information and works with the Regional Controlling Services (RCS) team in Monterrey, MX to prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements and other reports to summarize current and projected financial position.</span></li> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Prepares, with the support of RCS, the analysis and reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, balance sheet, cash flow and other non-financial key performance indicators as assigned by management.</span></li> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Plays a major role in cost improvement activities, including idea generation as well as reporting on the financial impacts from continuous improvement activities.</span></li> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and partners with RCS to provide meaningful variance analysis and reporting comparing standard costs to actual production costs.</span></li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Provides decision support to managers and supervisors in the plant, advising on the financial impact of projects or decisions.</span></li> <li style="line-height:normal;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Other duties and responsabilties may be required. </span></li> </ul> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-family:Verdana;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-family:Verdana;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-weight:bold;font-size:24.0pt">Your Experience & Qualifications:</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-family:Verdana;font-size:14.0pt"> </p> <ul> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">5 to 10 years of related experience in Controlling or Finance. </span></li> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Hands-On experience with Microsoft Excel. </span></li> <li style="line-height:107%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Aptos, serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting, financial management, auditing and US GAAP or IFRS and internal control systems.
