<p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Your Contribution </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">As a <strong>Journeyman</strong> <strong>Electrician </strong>reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible to provide troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support facility and R&D equipment and systems.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This role is responsible to:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Set up electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Identify electrical faults (troubleshooting) and repair or replace faulty components to ensure functionality and safety.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications to plan layouts and determine material needs.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Use tools like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to test systems for safety and proper operation.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state/local building regulations to prevent fire hazards and ensure safety.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Upgrade electrical panels and wiring to handle modern loads or energy-efficient systems.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em> </em></p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"> <strong>Your Experience & Qualifications</strong> </span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree in Electrical Technology or Electronics preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">New York State Licensed Journeyman Electrician required</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">3-5 years of professional experience</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Our Offering</strong> </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
