<p><strong><span style="font-size:24.0pt">Your Contribution</span> </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">As a <strong>Reliability Management Engineer – Powertrain Cooling Power Units</strong> reporting to the Head of Powertrain Cooling Concept Development, you will conduct, coordinate, and perform various engineering duties on new and existing products and projects. The main responsibility will be Reliability Management (ReM) for MAHLE Heavy Duty (MHD) projects which include in-lab and field data acquisitions as well as data analysis and evaluation.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">This role is responsible to:</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Prepare and conduct in-lab, proving ground, and over-the-road data acquisitions (i.e. strain, accelerations).</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Analyze and evaluate data from proving ground and road measurements -utilizing ReM tools and software.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Derive / verify customer test specifications by applying MAHLE’s ReM methodology.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Document results and prepare comprehensive internal and external communication (reports and presentations)</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support regional engineering teams regarding reliability management (ReM)</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"> <strong>Your Experience & Qualifications</strong> </span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">3 to 5 years in automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or related manufacturing environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">In-depth knowledge of reliability management methodologies</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Proficiency in Weibull statistics and Weibull based testing</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with systems control methodologies and technologies and laboratory experience</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong knowledge of test equipment and methods including data acquisition and transducers</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience in one of the following software/hardware systems preferred (LabView, LMS Test.Lab, LMS Tecware, IMC Cronos, LMS SCADAS)</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Basic knowledge of quantitative methods such as finite element methods and computational fluid dynamics.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience with heat exchanger design/development is an advantage.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Excellent communication and presentation skills.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Our Offering</strong> </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.
