<p><strong><span style="font-size:24.0pt">Your</span> <span style="font-size:24.0pt">Contribution </span></strong></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">As a <strong>Test and Measurement Controls Engineer</strong> reporting to the Head of AC Testing – NA, you will provide support for equipment and facilities used in the validation testing of automotive Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) and engine cooling components. Primary role will be supporting Industrial controls, including Siemens PLC control systems. Position requires a multidisciplinary background of both electrical and mechanical engineering relating to the support of industrial and test equipment, process control and instrumentation. Responsible for ensuring data quality and adherence to validation test specifications for components and systems as part of the product development cycle.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt">This role is responsible to:</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Design, validate, and implement controls for new test equipment and upgrades to existing equipment</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Installation and support of process control equipment including PLCs and set-point controllers</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Design, development and implementation of HMI systems</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Installation and support of instrumentation and data acquisition systems</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Size control valves, heat exchangers, pumps and equipment</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Diagnose refrigeration systems and equipment</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Engineer test equipment and facility enhancements</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support technicians and troubleshoot equipment issues</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Determine project specifications and prepare cost estimates</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Develop and perform commissioning tests</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">No direct supervisory responsibilities; provides guidance to technicians.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Your Experience and Qualifications </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p>• <span style="font-size:14.0pt">Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year college or university</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• 1-10 years of experience</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Knowledge of PLC controls and HMI</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Knowledge of instrumentation, controls, electrical systems</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Familiarity with HVAC, thermodynamics</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Knowledge of Measurement System Analysis, OSHA, NFPA</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Apply advanced high school math concepts.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">• Solve problems, analyze data, draw conclusions.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:24.0pt"><strong>Our Offering </strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">ongoing personal & career development opportunities.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.
