Its core competences are the development, production, distribution and servicing of diesel, gas and electric drivetrains for professional applications that is used in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment, stationary equipment, commercial vehicles, rail vehicles and other applications.</span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="color:#003b5c"><span style="font-size:24.0px"><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></span></p> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <p>The Production Process Engineer will assist with planning and implementation of shop floor processes for component cleaning, inspection, remanufacturing, product assembly, and testing. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will also assist with the development and implementation of lean manufacturing methods. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan production requirements for engine assembly line based upon production levels.</li> <li>Research, create, and maintain production material system documentation (same as technical writer)</li> <li>Research, create, and maintain production assembly BOM documentation.</li> <li>Maintain production documentation.</li> <li>Determine technical resources (tools, equipment, infrastructure) needed to accomplish engine assembly.</li> <li>Support new fastener tooling run-off. Validate fastener tooling for application.</li> <li>Support day to day operation as a technical resource.</li> <li>Research, determine, and implement plant floor layout and operational methods.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of and experience with industrial equipment and components machining operations</li> <li>Knowledge of and experience with industrial equipment assembly and testing</li> <li>Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing environments, including use of MRP Systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of and experience with lean manufacturing concepts and methods</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility</strong></p> <ul> <li>Individual Contributor</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Travel Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering</li> <li>Experience in a manufacturing (machining/assembly) environment</li> <li>Experience in implementing machining equipment and processes</li> <li>Experience with AutoCad systems</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in writing G and/or M code</li> <li>Experience with Gas and/or Diesel engines</li> <li>Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>An employee must meet the physical demands described here to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
