They will manage Kubernetes operations, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows, while contributing production-grade application code across multiple languages. This role accelerates engineering velocity by driving DevOps best practices, strengthening observability, and enabling consistent, high-quality deployments across the IS Division.</span><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><strong><span>Key Responsibilities</span><span> </span></strong></p> </div> <div> <p><span>• Define and enforce DevOps policies and best practices, with a strong focus on trunk-based development (short-lived feature branches, continuous integration gates, automated code-quality checks).</span> <br><span>• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins using Pipeline-as-Code (shared libraries, scripted & declarative).</span> <br><span>• Write and manage build scripts and infrastructure tooling (Shell, Python, Groovy) to automate the software-delivery lifecycle.</span> <br><span>• Administer multi-cluster Kubernetes environments (EKS & OCP), including Helm chart development, RBAC, network policies, and autoscaling.</span> <br><span>• Implement GitOps workflows (Argo CD or Flux) to promote reproducible, auditable deployments.</span> <br><span>• Provision and manage AWS resources (EKS, RDS/PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, IAM).</span> <br><span>• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).</span> <br><span>• Contribute application code in Python, Go, or TypeScript, participating in design reviews and performance profiling.</span> <br><span>• Establish observability with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and incident-response workflows (PagerDuty).</span> <br><span>• Author technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.</span><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><span>• Maintain Internal Developer Portal - Backstage</span><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><strong><span>Qualifications</span><span> </span></strong></p> </div> <div> <p><span>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus).</span> <br><span>• 4+ years of combined experience in DevOps, SRE, or Software Engineering.</span> <br><span>• Expertise with containerized environments, Kubernetes internals, and Helm.</span> <br><span>• Hands-on production experience with Jenkins and CI/CD best practices.</span> <br><span>• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript).</span> <br><span>• Strong SQL skills and proven PostgreSQL administration experience.</span> <br><span>• Solid understanding of AWS core services, IAM security, and cost-optimization practices.</span> <br><span>• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).</span> <br><span>• Comfortable with Linux internals, networking fundamentals, and shell scripting.</span> <br><span>• Agile mindset with experience working in Scrum teams.</span> <br><span>• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.</span><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><span> </span></p> </div> <div> <p><strong><span>Preferred Certifications</span><span> </span></strong></p> </div> <div> <p><span>• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)</span> <br><span>• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)</span><span> </span></p> </div>
