<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Description</b></H2> </div><div><p>Job Summary<br>The Cyber Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of security controls and cyber protection measures in a secure and regulated environment, with a focus on Singapore government-related initiatives. The role requires strong technical security knowledge, hands-on experience in cyber defense and security operations, and the ability to support secure delivery in accordance with security, regulatory, and organisational requirements.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br>• Design, implement, and maintain cyber security controls across infrastructure, applications, endpoints, networks, and cloud environments. <br>• Support the identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses. <br>• Perform security hardening, patching, and baseline compliance activities for systems and platforms. <br>• Monitor, analyse, and respond to security alerts, events, and incidents in a timely manner. <br>• Support incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review. <br>• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and control validation for project and operational environments. <br>• Implement and support security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM and DLP solutions where applicable. <br>• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security requirements are understood and properly implemented. <br>• Support secure architecture design, security testing, and security sign-off activities. <br>• Prepare and maintain security documentation, including technical specifications, security assessments, remediation plans, and status reports. <br>• Ensure compliance with government security requirements, internal policies, and approved security standards and delivery processes. <br>• Support vendor and third-party coordination for security-related implementation and issue resolution. <br>• Assist with operational handover, knowledge transfer and ongoing support for security solutions. </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>Required Qualifications<br>• Diploma or Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. <br>• Minimum 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in cyber security, infrastructure security or security operations. <br>• Experience working on government, secure, regulated or enterprise IT environments is preferred. <br>• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, security controls, vulnerability management, and incident response. <br>• Proficiency in common security technologies and tools such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IAM, or equivalent. <br>• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. <br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. <br><br>Preferred Requirements<br>• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, GIAC, or equivalent. <br>• Experience working in secure environments with strict access control and compliance requirements. <br>• Familiarity with government security processes and/or security-related delivery standards. <br>• Experience in cloud security, endpoint security, network security, or application security will be an advantage. <br>• The candidate should be open to cross-training and may be required to support adjacent technical areas based on project needs.<br><br>Key Competencies<br>• Cyber security technical knowledge <br>• Security operations and incident handling <br>• Vulnerability management and remediation <br>• Planning and organisation <br>• Strong written and verbal communication <br>• Attention to detail <br>• Analytical thinking <br>• Ownership and accountability <br>• Ability to influence and drive outcomes <br><br>Security and Compliance Requirement<br>• Possession of relevant security clearance or the ability to obtain required clearance may be necessary, depending on project requirements. </p></div></div></div>
