Network Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining mission-critical Wireless network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, incident response, preventive maintenance, implementation activities, vendor coordination, and support for large-scale wireless environments operating in a 24/7 environment.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p>•Support day-to-day operations of wireless infrastructure including Cisco Wireless solutions, Aruba solutions, switches, firewalls, captive portals, and authentication systems.<br>•Perform troubleshooting for Wireless connectivity issues, DNS, DHCP, captive portal access, OTP login issues, VLAN routing, authentication failures, and internet access problems.<br>•Manage service technical escalations and support major incident troubleshooting during service disruptions.<br>•Support preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, patching, and technology refresh activities for wireless and network infrastructure.<br>•Support WLC upgrade activities including Access Point image updates, failover testing, rollback planning, and validation activities.<br>•Work closely with vendor TAC such as Cisco TAC and Aruba TAC for issue analysis and problem resolution.<br>•Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and prepare incident reports, technical findings, and preventive recommendations.<br>•Support implementation activities including Access Point deployment, switch replacement, firewall migration, SSL certificate updates, and network migrations.<br>•Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and facility management teams during maintenance and implementation activities.<br>•Support testing activities such as congestion testing, failover testing, WiFi roaming optimization, and POE/network validation.<br>•Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as Catalyst Center, AirWave, SevOne, LogicMonitor, NetAlly.<br>•Fluent in ITSM Incident, Change Management, Service Request platforms such as ServiceNow.<br>•Maintain technical documentation including install plans, diagrams, inventory records, validation evidence, and maintenance reports.<br>•Support after-office-hour maintenance windows, standby support, and emergency troubleshooting activities.<br>•Ensure compliance with operational governance, safety requirements, and change management procedures.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field.<br>Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network and wireless infrastructure support.</p> <p><strong>Strong knowledge of:</strong><br>Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)<br>Aruba Wireless solutions<br>Switching and routing technologies<br>Firewalls and network security concepts<br>DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and authentication systems</p> <p><strong>Experience with monitoring and management tools such as:</strong><br>Cisco Catalyst Center<br>AirWave<br>SevOne<br>ServiceNow</p> <p>Familiarity with incident management, RCA preparation, and maintenance support processes.<br>Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical environments is an advantage.<br>Good troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.<br>Ability to work independently and support after-hours maintenance activities when required.</p> <p><strong>Preferred Certifications</strong><br>Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)<br>Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)<br>Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional<br>ITIL Foundation Certification</p> <p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong><br>Onsite support role<br>May require standby support, shift work, and after-office-hour maintenance activities depending on operational requirements.</p></div></div></div>
