<h1>UAV Systems Engineer at ST Engineering Aerospace Ltd.</h1> <p>Location: Aero - 540 Airport Road</p> <h2>Position Overview</h2> <p>We are seeking a motivated UAV Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team based at Aero - 540 Airport Road. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced UAV platforms, focusing on the design, development, integration, and testing of unmanned aerial systems. As a key member of our UAV/Systems Engineering Group, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and innovative systems that meet stringent industry standards.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and integrate UAV systems including avionics, control systems, communication modules, and mission payloads.</li> <li>Conduct system-level analysis, simulation, and testing to validate functional and performance requirements.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimize overall UAV performance.</li> <li>Support the entire product lifecycle from conceptual design through to production and in-service support.</li> <li>Develop technical documentation, including specifications, system architecture diagrams, test plans, and reports.</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and safety.</li> <li>Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to unmanned aerial systems.</li> </ul> <h2>Required Skills and Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.</li> <li>Proven experience in UAV system design, integration, and testing within a professional engineering environment.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of avionics systems, embedded systems, sensors, and communication protocols.</li> <li>Familiarity with systems engineering principles, tools, and methodologies.</li> <li>Experience with simulation and modelling software applicable to UAV systems.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li> <li>Effective communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.</li> </ul>
