<p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span><br><strong>1. Inventory &amp; Materials Management</strong><br>Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, components, and spare parts<br>Ensure accurate stock records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)<br>Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits<br>Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory</p> <p><br><strong>2. Production Support</strong><br>Ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules<br>Coordinate with production planning and operations teams<br>Resolve material shortages to prevent production downtime</p> <p><br><strong>3. Planning &amp; Forecasting</strong><br>Review Material Requirement Planning (MRP) outputs<br>Align material supply with production forecasts and demand plans<br>Adjust plans based on changes in production schedules or demand</p> <p><br><strong>4. Supplier Coordination</strong><br>Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials<br>Track purchase orders (POs) and follow up on delays<br>Work with procurement teams on supplier performance issues</p> <p><br><strong>5. Logistics &amp; Warehousing</strong><br>Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities<br>Ensure proper storage, handling, and FIFO/FEFO compliance<br>Optimize warehouse space and material flow</p> <p><br><strong>6. Cost &amp; Efficiency Management</strong><br>Support cost reduction initiatives (e.g., inventory optimization, waste reduction)<br>Improve material handling and storage processes<br>Identify and implement process improvements</p> <p><br><strong>7. Compliance &amp; Reporting</strong><br>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and automotive standards<br>Prepare inventory reports, KPIs, and material status updates<br>Maintain accurate documentation and traceability</p> <p><br><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</strong><br>Inventory accuracy (%)<br>Stock turnover ratio<br>Material availability / line stoppages<br>On-time delivery (OTD) of materials<br>Inventory carrying cost</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field</li> <li>Min 3 years of experience in materials control, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry</li> <li>Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred) &amp; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li> <li>Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive production environments (JIT, Kanban)</li> <li>Advantage: Familiarity with automotive quality standards &amp; Exposure to MRO or aftermarket parts management</li> </ul>
