<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ol style="list-style-type:decimal"> <li><strong>Finite Element Analysis and Vibration</strong> <ol style="list-style-type:lower-alpha"> <li>Able to work independently utilizing ANSYS to carry out accurate modeling and analysis of vessel structures</li> <li>Global Analysis of ship structure</li> <li>Hydrodynamic loading</li> <li>Refine model and provide suggestions on how to optimize the design for weight savings.</li> </ol> </li> </ol> <ol style="list-style-type:decimal" start="2"> <li><strong>Structural Design and Modelling</strong> <ol style="list-style-type:lower-alpha"> <li>Have a good fundamental knowledge of structural design and calculations in order to streamline design</li> <li>Conceptualize ship and deck structure drawings and carry out calculations</li> <li>Able to do 3D modeling in Aveva Marine software.</li> </ol> </li> </ol> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ol style="list-style-type:decimal"> <li>Minimum Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University, or equivalent</li> <li>Be part of a team of engineers to carry out structural design and calculations</li> <li>Technical experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Vibration studies and analysis, and able to do modeling and run simulations of the same.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of international design codes, Classification and Statutory Rules and Regulations</li> <li>High proficiency in 3D modeling skills using 3D CAD software will be an advantage.</li> <li>At least 5 years relevant experience</li> </ol> <p><strong>Other Information:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Location: 16 Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)</li> <li>5 days work week</li> <li>Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm</li> </ul>
