<p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Job Description</p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Report to Senior Manager for Network Administration on Secured Network and maintain Efficient Operation of the entire Network Infrastructure & computing Environment. </li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">The Network Engineer shall undertake the role of Network Administrator (NA) to Design, Implement, Manage and Maintain Network Infrastructure, Switches & Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) across Production & Test Environment to ensure operational readiness & availability with 24x7 uptime.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Manage IP Address assignment and DNS Configurations.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Daily Monitor Network performance, Port Controls, and troubleshoot issues proactively.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Provide End user’s helpdesk Support and Respond to and resolve networking outages or incidents promptly.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Ensure Network Security by Implementing Security Measures and System that are aligned to Authority IT Policies and guidelines. (eg Hardening of Network Switches, Encryptions, Mac Address Control, VLAN & ACL, Network Access Control).</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Perform regular reviews and implement upgrades, Security patches and hot fixes on Cisco/Nexus Switches as necessary to ensure compliance.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Perform Switches Configurations/Settings backups and restoration and recovery when required.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Maintain IT Asset inventory and Documentation of Network diagram, Switches Configuration & Setting for standardization and knowledge retention.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Perform Capacity planning for Network Expansion, evaluate and recommend new network technologies & products.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Collaborate with IT Teams (Servers & Storage, Computers, Application & Database) to integrate new Technologies/systems into the Network.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Liase with vendors & internal stakeholder on Network Cabling works (eg Laying of New LAN cables during Office Renovation.)</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Provide after office hour support & response for Infrastructure related emergencies (eg Datacenter Power Outages, Hardware Failures) and Schedule weekend System Maintenance/Upgrades. </li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Support Business Continuity Plans & Disaster Recovery exercise related to Networking.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Support all audit and compliance activities.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in 0.0in 8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Job Requirements</p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-bottom:0.0in" type="disc"> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Network Administration.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Qualified and trained in Network Administration of Cisco/Nexus Switches. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification will be an advantage.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Strong Understanding of Networking Protocols (DHCP, DNS, TCPIP, SNTP, SMTP, etc)</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Hands-on experience in handling Network Hardware: Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless Aps.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Good Knowledge and Proficiency in configuring and managing LAN, WAN, VPN, NAC and VLANs.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0in;margin-right:0.0in;margin-bottom:8.0pt;line-height:115%;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Aptos, sans-serif">Familiarity with Network monitoring and Diagnostic tools (eg.
