<h3><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><strong>Roles & Responsibilities </strong></span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Inspect aircraft structures and sheet metal components for cracks, corrosion, dents, warping, and other structural defects.</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Perform structural modifications, repairs, and replacements on military aircraft in accordance with OEM Technical Manuals, Engineering Drawings, and approved repair schemes.</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Fabricate, fit, and install sheet metal parts including skins, frames, ribs, doublers, and brackets using appropriate tools and techniques such as riveting, drilling, bending, and forming.</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Ensure all work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets the quality standards of the company, customers, and regulatory authorities (e.g., FAA).</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities performed on aircraft structures.</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Lead and promote a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to technical procedures, safety protocols, and quality guidelines, and by coordinating with other technicians and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address safety concerns.</span></li> </ul> <hr> <h3><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><strong>Job Requirements</strong></span></h3> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Relevant Diploma/NITEC qualifications in Aerospace Technology / Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent OR</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Technical certificate + relevant aviation sheet metal work experience</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical manuals</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Skilled in using sheet metal tools and equipment (e.g., rivet guns, drills, shears, brakes)</span></li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif">Familiarity with aircraft structural repair standards and practices</span></li> </ul>
