You will be a key technical contributor, responsible for building end-to-end data pipelines, managing OneLake storage, and ensuring the reliability of Lakehouse and Warehouse environments. This role requires a professional who has already transitioned into the Fabric ecosystem and can independently deliver complex data engineering tasks.</div> <div></div> <hr> <div></div> <div><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Fabric Pipeline Engineering:</strong> Design and develop production-grade ETL/ELT workflows using <strong>Fabric Data Factory</strong>, <strong>Dataflows Gen2</strong>, and <strong>Notebooks</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Data Lake Management:</strong> Implement and manage <strong>OneLake</strong> organization and <strong>Medallion architecture</strong> (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to ensure data quality and performance.</li> <li><strong>Advanced Spark Development:</strong> Write and optimize <strong>PySpark</strong> and <strong>Spark SQL</strong> code for high-volume data processing and transformation.</li> <li><strong>Semantic Modeling:</strong> Build and maintain <strong>Power BI semantic models</strong> (Direct Lake / Import) to support enterprise reporting requirements.</li> <li><strong>DevOps & Automation:</strong> Manage Fabric artifacts using <strong>Git integration</strong> and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in Azure DevOps or GitHub.</li> <li><strong>Performance Optimization:</strong> Conduct performance tuning of Spark clusters and SQL queries to ensure cost-efficient capacity utilization in Fabric.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Partner with Lead Engineers and Architects to implement data governance, security (RLS/OLS), and cataloging within <strong>Microsoft Purview</strong>.</li> </ul> <div></div> <hr> <div></div> <div><strong>Must-Have Skills</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 4+ years of overall data engineering experience.</li> <li><strong>Microsoft Fabric:</strong> <strong>1–2 years of proven, hands-on experience</strong> with core Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, and Data Factory).</li> <li><strong>Core Technicals:</strong> Expert-level <strong>SQL</strong> and strong proficiency in <strong>PySpark</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Data Architecture:</strong> Proven experience implementing dimensional models and Lakehouse patterns.</li> <li><strong>Azure Foundations:</strong> Solid understanding of ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, and Key Vault as they integrate with Fabric.</li> <li><strong>Modern DevOps:</strong> Experience with Git-based version control and automated deployment workflows for data.</li> </ul> <div></div> <hr> <div></div> <div><strong>Good-to-Have Skills</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Real-Time Intelligence:</strong> Experience with <strong>KQL</strong> or <strong>Eventstreams</strong> within the Fabric ecosystem.</li> <li><strong>Migrations:</strong> Previous experience migrating workloads from <strong>Azure Synapse</strong> or <strong>Databricks</strong> to Fabric.</li> <li><strong>Certifications:</strong> Microsoft <strong>DP-600</strong> (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate) or <strong>DP-700</strong> (Fabric Data Engineer Associate).</li> <li><strong>Governance:</strong> Exposure to data lineage and sensitivity labeling within Microsoft Purview.</li> </ul> <div></div> <hr> <div></div> <div><strong>Soft Skills & Education</strong></div> <ul> <li><strong>Mindset:</strong> A quality-first approach with a strong "bias for action" in solving technical debt.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Ability to clearly document technical designs and collaborate in a pod-based team structure.</li> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related Engineering field.</li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">At YASH, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
