You will lead and manage the appointed Contractor in the installation, inspection, testing & commissioning and decommissioning work at the Stations / Depots and Tracks.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p>The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Engineer are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.</p> <p>• Able to perform night works<br>• Lead and Supervise installation (including locomotives cable laying on trackside) and T&C works with equipment rooms, OCC, BOCC<br>• Lead and Supervise decommissioning works<br>• Lead site survey and ensure safety at site<br>• Liaise with LTA and internal stakeholders on project matters. E.g. design, installation, T&C, migration etc <br>• Lead in T&C/services migration work <br>• Review installation design and method statements for R160<br>• Verify final drawing submission at site<br>• Support the handover of equipment and handover to Maintenance<br>• Ensure safety, work quality and full compliance to procedures<br>• Lead metal works inspection, cables inspection and project handover inspection<br>• Prepare meeting minutes <br>• Other You may also be required to provide other technical support, undertake system improvements and modification works as well as administrative assignments or any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications & Work Experience</b></H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify">• Diploma in an Electrical and Electronics (EEE) discipline with more than 8 years of relevant experience or<br>• Degree in an Electrical and Electronics (EEE) discipline with more than 4 years of relevant experience</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Skills</b></H2> </div><div><p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify">• Knowledge of basic engineering fundamentals<br>• Good understanding in Communication System (MPLS, Radio, PA, STIS, Telephony etc)<br>• Good interpersonal and communication skills<br>• Able to work independently<br>• Team player</p></div></div></div><p> </p> <p><b>SMRT Trains Ltd </b>was incorporated in 1987 and operates Singapore’s first mass rapid transit system.
