</div><div><p><span style="font-size:18.0px">Reporting to both Dy MD Buses and Dir Bus Safety functionally, the Manager, Bus Safety, is to lead the Bus Safety Department, who is responsible for the safe operations of buses operations and enforcing Traffic Safety and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards within the company.</span></p> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px style="font-size:18.0px">Duties and Responsibilities</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">Regulatory Compliance & Safety Standards</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Responsible for the compliance with regulatory and contractual safety requirements set by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Maintain and uphold the ISO 39001 standard for Road Traffic Safety Management.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Keep the Bus Safety Management System updated across all relevant departments.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span style="font-size:18.0px">Safety Planning & Risk Management</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Conduct regular review of the Bus Safety Work Plan, including Safety KPIs by reviewing, developing and excellence implementation</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to enhance safety in bus operations.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span style="font-size:18.0px">Investigation and Analysis</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Direct and/or participate in the investigation of traffic accident and workplace incidents, derive casual factors leading to the incident and develop recommendations to prevent similar occurrence.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Maintain a digitalized database of accident cases for data analysis and trend identification.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Analyse accident reports to determine root causes and propose preventive measures.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span style="font-size:18.0px">Safety Awareness & Engagement</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Initiate, propose and implement Traffic Safety and WSH programs within bus operations to promote a strong safety culture among employees.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Provide expert safety management advice to internal departments and key stakeholders.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Collaborate with authorities and agencies to conduct Public Safety Awareness Engagements.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span style="font-size:18.0px">Technology & Data-Driven Safety Enhancements</span></b></p> <p><span style="font-size:18.0px">· Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance bus operational style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications & Work Experience</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification is preferred.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Additional certifications (e.g., Fire Safety Manager, ISO Lead Auditor) are advantageous.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace safety and health, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Thorough knowledge of WSH regulations and standards.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Data management and use of visualisation software</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Strong leadership and communication skills to advocate for safety and influence others.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:16.0px">Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and implement effective solutions.</span></li>
