About the Role This is a hands-on role where you’ll be right in the middle of our underground operations, working closely with production crews to help manage ground conditions and support safe, efficient mining. You’ll play an important part in spotting geotechnical risks early and providing practical, on-the-ground guidance to keep things running smoothly. With regular time underground and close interaction with crews, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships and make a real impact day to day. We offer flexibility with either residential or FIFO from Perth on an 8:6 roster (Thursday to Thursday, 12-hour days). About You You’re someone who enjoys being close to the action, practical, safety-focused, and comfortable working alongside crews in an operational environment. You build strong working relationships underground, communicate clearly, and use sound judgement to navigate the day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced mining operation. This role is suited to an early to mid-career Geotechnical Engineer with practical underground experience, who is confident contributing to operational decisions and keen to continue developing their technical capability. You take pride in your work, back yourself to identify and raise risks early, and aren’t afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo when it comes to maintaining safe outcomes.
