About the Role This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a major underground gold operation and cornerstone asset at a genuine inflection point in its growth story. As a Senior Engineer - Medium-Term Planning at Cowal Gold Operation, you will own the development and delivery of Underground mine plans and designs within the critical three-year time horizon. Your work will directly underpin investment decisions, growth studies, and the evolving Life of Mine of the entire operation, putting you at the centre of how the site matures and expands over the coming years. Working within the Integrated Planning team on site, this pivotal role is centred on challenging the status quo – planning into genuine upside, capturing orebody growth, expanding infrastructure and evolving mining methods. You will work alongside both Group and Site Planning and Operations teams to translate growth aspirations into technically sound, deliverable mine plans. Key responsibilities include: <ul> <li style="line-height:110%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#302e2c">Translating ambitious growth aspirations into robust, achievable medium-term mine plans and designs.</li> <li style="line-height:110%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#302e2c">Identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and technical risk across the planning horizon.</li> <li style="line-height:110%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#302e2c">Driving continuous improvement and business optimisation initiatives across planning processes and outcomes.</li> <li style="line-height:110%;font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;color:#302e2c">Partnering closely with Life of Mine Planning and Studies teams to ensure alignment between medium-term plans and the broader strategic direction of Cowal.</li> </ul> About You You're technically strong and confident owning a planning process from end to end, and what really drives you is the chance to make a genuine difference.
