.About the role As an HD Fitter, you’ll be a key player in our Maintenance team, keeping our underground mobile fleet running safely and reliably across underground mining operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll apply your hands-on mechanical expertise with a strong, safety-first approach every shift, every task. What you’ll be doing: <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="disc"> <li style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Maintaining and fault-finding on underground mobile equipment</li> <li style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Working actively within site safety and hazard management systems</li> <li style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Diagnosing, reporting, and resolving equipment issues</li> <li style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Driving continuous improvement initiatives</li> <li style="margin-bottom:4.0pt;margin-top:0.0cm;margin-right:0.0cm;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Upholding environmental standards and safe work practices</li> </ul> This roster is 7:7 and a 12 hour day. Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth About you You’re a hands-on problem solver with a strong safety focus and a passion for keeping things running smoothly underground. You’ll bring: <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Certificate III in HD Fitting or relevant trade qualification</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Minimum of 18 months experience with Sandvik underground equipment.</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Dangerous Goods Security Clearance</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Experience maintaining underground mobile equipment in a mining environment</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Strong understanding of safe work procedures and work management systems</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">Bonus points for: PRONTO experience, forklift ticket, confined space entry, dogging, hydraulics, and working at heights certification</li> </ul> About us From humble beginnings in 2011, Evolution Mining is now a leading gold producer, operating six mines across Australia and Canada.
