Safety is our top priority, and with a focus on safety first, a proven record of safe driving is required. If you enjoy shift work, working on your own, multitasking, and have attention to detail, this role is for you! A commitment to exceptional customer service and communication is key, while also maintaining a positive outlook, being resilient, and having the ability to handle pressure. What do you need to become a tram driver? To be a Tram Driver you will: <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>Have full work rights within Australia (Australian citizen or permanent Resident).</li> <li>Be able to undertake a medical assessment that includes basic mobility, hearing, and other health checks.</li> <li>Have a minimum of 12 months driving experience in Victoria or Australia.</li> <li>Recieve a Certificate III in Light Rail Driving following our structured 6-10 week training program. </li> <li>Our working week is 40 hours per week, 5 days a week inclusive of weekends and public holidays following a rotating roster. </li> <li>Rosters are available 20 weeks in advance.</li> <li>Work early starts and late finishes.</li> </ul> Depot locations We have a total of eight tram depots in the following four regions: <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px"> <li>North depots: Essendon, Brunswick, Preston</li> <li>East depots: Kew, Camberwell</li> <li>South depots: Malvern, Glenhuntly</li> <li>CBD depot: Southbank</li> </ul> Interested?
