<p><strong>Checkout Supervisor</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a Checkout Supervisor at New World Northwood, you’ll be at the forefront of our busy Checkout department, providing great customer service and helping to lead and organise the checkout team.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Customer service – scanning and packing groceries</li> <li>Organising the checkout team</li> <li>Authorising alcohol/ tobacco purchases</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Hours </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>32 hours per week Wednesday to Saturday evening shifts are required.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About you </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>You will have a passion for excellent customer service.</p> <p>Be able to work well as part of a team, but also able to complete tasks unassisted.</p> <p>Have a positive approach to the day and have a can - do attitude.</p> <p>Ability to show initiative and be honest and reliable.</p> <p>A Liquor Duty Manger's Certificate would be an advantage.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>About us </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>New World is New Zealand’s kitchen – the place where Kiwis go to make every meal time easy!
