<p><strong>PAK’nSAVE Queenstown </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>FRESH FOODS ASSISTANT - BUTCHERY</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for a fast and efficient person with a passion for food preparation to work in our Butchery department. </p> <p> </p> <p>In the Butchery our rosters are fixed, so you’ll know what days you’ll work each week and that you’ll be working 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week. </p> <p> </p> <p>The roster for this position is: Fridays to Tuesdays 5:00am to 2.30pm. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The ideal candidate will be:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Someone with previous food handling and preparation experience</li> <li>Physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items</li> <li>A team player with the ability to assist colleagues as well as work independently</li> <li>Attentive to detail and committed to providing an excellent shopping experience for our customers </li> <li>Reliable and have good timekeeping</li> <li>Available to work weekends</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Preparing and packing and presenting meat products ready for sale</li> <li>Maintaining stock levels in cabinets and retail spaces and ensuring all products on display are excellent quality</li> <li>Cleaning trays, utensils and preparation areas</li> <li>Compliance with our Health and Safety and Food Safety programme.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We welcome applications from candidates currently residing in Queenstown and planning to stay and work with us long term.
