<p><strong>Butcher (Fixed term) - New World Wigram</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Are you a qualified butcher looking for a change? Even if you are experienced knife hand, we are happy to have a conversation. </p> <p> </p> <p>This role entails working with our butchery team to ensure our customers have an excellent range of butchery products for our customers, produced to a high standard.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Days & Hours: </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>This is fixed term role June 2026 until end of December 2026. </p> <p> </p> <p>40 hours per week. Days of work will be Sunday to Thursday, shift times will be discussed during the interview. Starts times will be around 6am.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Prepare, cut, and display a wide range of quality meats</li> <li>Maintain our high standards for product quality, presentation, and food safety</li> <li>Deliver exceptional customer service and product advice</li> <li>Support your team to keep the butchery running smoothly and efficiently</li> <li>Uphold all health & safety and food safety standards</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will:</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Qualified Butcher or experienced professional with a strong butchery background.</li> <li>Passion for the Butchery trade with a commitment to quality.</li> <li>Eager to contribute to the success of the team and the development in innovation.</li> <li>Willingness to learn and grow in the role.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Why join us:</strong> At New World Wigram, we pride ourselves on offering customers the very best — and that starts with our people.
