<p><strong>POSITION AVAILABLE</strong></p> <p><strong>Chilled and Frozen Assistant – Part Time</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a reliable and responsible team member that can work efficiently with excellent customer services skills who is keen to join our team as a Chilled and Frozen Assistant. </p> <p>You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality products and excellent service we offer our customers here at New World Mosgiel.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Hours of Work</strong></p> <p>Monday 5:30am – 2:00pm (Freezer)</p> <p>Tuesday 5:30am – 1:30pm (Freezer)</p> <p>Sunday 8:00am – 5:30pm (Dairy)</p> <p>24.5 hours per week total</p> <p></p> <p><strong></strong><strong>Your main duties will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing excellent customer service and assisting with customer enquiries</li> <li>Shelf filling</li> <li>Ensuring shelves and displays meet required presentation standards</li> <li>Date checking and stock rotation</li> <li>Assist with all other duties that form part of the Chilled and Frozen departments</li> <li>Cleaning</li> <li>Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Here’s what you’ll need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be customer driven</li> <li>Be able to work unsupervised</li> <li>Passion for customer service</li> <li>High presentation standards and good attention to detail</li> <li>Be reliable</li> <li>Have a good work ethic</li> <li>Enjoy being busy and able to work well under pressure</li> <li>Be able to work at least one weekend day</li> <li>Flexibility to work extra shifts when required</li> <li>Work well in a team environment</li> <li>Physically fit as there is repetitive heavy lifting involved</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Permanent part time role available </li> <li>Engaged and friendly team mates</li> <li>On the job training and support</li> <li>Opportunity to learn new skills</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given for the right candidates.</p> <p></p> <p>Applicants must have NZ Citizenship, NZ Permanent Residency or a valid NZ work permit.</p> <p></p> <p>Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so don't delay in expressing your interest!</p> <p></p> <p>We are only able to contact short listed candidates due to the high number of applications we receive for advertised roles.</p> <p></p> <p>Applications close 9pm Sunday 12th July unless the role is filled prior.</p>
