<p><strong>NEW WORLD KAIKŌURA JOB VACANCY</strong></p> <p><strong>CHECKOUT MANAGER &ndash; 40 HOURS PER WEEK</strong></p> <p></p> <p>Are you passionate about customer service? Can you support and inspire a busy team and have excellent communication skills?</p> <p></p> <p>We are seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Checkout Manager&nbsp;</strong>extraordinaire!</p> <p></p> <p><strong>The role will involve the following:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Managing, organising and supporting our checkout team</li> <li>Admin tasks such as timesheets and rosters</li> <li>Customer services including lotto, checkout operating, packing and supervising</li> <li>Overseeing the successful operations of our checkout team</li> </ul> <p><strong>Please note: Our busiest times are long weekends/public holidays, summer holidays and our team members are required to work through these periods.</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p><strong>The person we are looking for will have the following attributes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have a passion for giving excellent customer service and going the extra mile for our customers</li> <li>Be able to &lsquo;lead from the front&rsquo; and set high standards for the team</li> <li>Be able to work well in a team and also be self-managing&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be able to show initiative, be honest and reliable</li> <li>Must have a positive outlook and a &lsquo;can-do&rsquo; attitude</li> <li>Have great problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li> <li>You must also be physically fit as it involves being on your feet all day</li> <li>A liquor duty manager certificate is preferable&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>This role is 40 hours per week and involves working one day in the weekend and some evening work.</p> <p></p> <p>If you have the necessary skills and are interested in leading our successful, friendly team then please collect an application form from the service desk, or email [email protected] to request an application form.
