In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our Food Safety, Health & Safety and price integrity initiatives—ensuring our store not only meets legislative requirements but sets the standard for excellence.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Champion health & safety systems and keep them running smoothly</li> <li>Own the Food Control Plan and ensure compliance with FSSI and external standards</li> <li>Inspire, induct and train staff, merchandisers, and contractors in best safety practices</li> <li>Ensure price integrity</li> <li>Keep accurate records and provide timely updates to managers and owners</li> <li>Promote a strong safety culture and a positive, supportive work environment</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your key accountabilities will include</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Completing store audits for both Food Safety and Health and Safety and assisting departments with making improvements where necessary, and ensuring a pass at every audit and maintaining the same standards every day.</li> <li>Completing training individually and of the team when required</li> <li>Assisting with the rollout and implementation of all Food and Health and Safety and other programmes as prescribed by Foodstuffs, MPI and / or the relevant agencies.</li> <li>Monitoring the efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of established systems in relation to food safety in the store in terms of understanding the requirements and implementing as required</li> <li>Ensure price integrity across our store including Point Of Sale updates.</li> <li>Ensuring that our team members maintain the required standards at all times.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a full-time permanent role reporting directly to the People & Capability Manager.
