About the Role: This is a permanent, part-time position at 3.5 hours per fortnight (0.05FTE) within the Department of Adolescent Medicine. You will be responsible for facilitating the provision of high quality, evidence based medical care for young people and their families in both inpatient and outpatient settings by leading, conducting and facilitating research within the Department of Adolescent Medicine. Internally, this position will be known and referred to as: Research Lead (Department of Adolescent Medicine) and/or Research Lead (Adolescent Medicine & Gender Service). Classification for this position is governed by Award 31 - Senior Medical Officers (Fractional) from HN16, Specialist Year 1 to HN56, Specialist Year 9 (depending on experience, part-time fractional, plus Superannuation). About the Department: The Department of Adolescent Medicine provides healthcare and support to adolescents and their families via a range of specialist multidisciplinary services. These include the RCH Gender Service, Eating Disorders Service, Chronic Illness Peer Support (ChIPS), Young People’s Health Service and the Transition Support Service, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
