This is a 0.7 FTE role working primarily within and ambulatory care model based in the Hospital in the Home service (Wallaby Ward). You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team to manage infants, children, and adolescents at home with feeding, swallowing, and communication disorders. You will be part of the broader RCH speech pathology team at the RCH and have regular and close contact speech pathology colleagues and the speech pathology manager. Part of this role includes teaching, supervision, service improvement and development. Although this role is primarly based in the Hospital in the Home Service, caseload flexibility and cover is required by all staff in the speech pathology team according to service demands. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><em><span style="text-decoration:underline">Internally, this position will be referred to and known as:</span> Speech Pathologist Grade 3.</em></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><em>Classification for this position will range from VW6-VW9 Grade 3 Year 1 to Grade 3 Year 4 (FTE base salary per annum $104,135- $118,981, pro rata for part-time, plus superannuation). We cover all inpatient wards with our highest inpatient referrals coming from Neonatology, Cardiac Services, General Medicine, Neurology, Neuroncology, Respiratory, and ENT. We also do a large amount of tertiary-related outpatient assessment and consultation with in multidisciplinary and speech path/allied health led clinics.
