Whilst employment will be through the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the location of employment will be based within the Immunology Laboratory of The Women’s and Children’s Pathology Service, starting February 2027. This immunopathology post is accredited by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (100% core laboratory training). You will participate in the day-to-day reporting of immunology laboratory tests at the RCH, under the supervision of the consultant immunopathologist. You will also provide direct clinical care to Allergy & Immunology patients at RCH, under the supervision of consultants in the Department of Allergy & Immunology. About the Immunology Laboratory The laboratory provides a comprehensive, high quality diagnostic immunology service to both The Royal Children's Hospital and The Royal Women's Hospital. In addition, patient samples are referred from other Victorian and interstate pathology services, as the Immunology Laboratory has particular expertise in complex assays required for the diagnostic workup of Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases.
