<div>The Repulse Bay is seeking an Asian Chef to support kitchen operations at <em>Spices</em>, our renowned Southeast Asian cuisine restaurant.</div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Section-in-charge of kitchen production in a popular Southeast Asian restaurant </li> <li>Highly competitive total remuneration package on offer</li> <li>Exceptional opportunity to develop your expertise and career</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <div>Promote <em>Spices</em> as a recognized culinary destination by creating memorable guest experiences through craftsmanship, customer communication, and an uncompromising passion for excellence.</div> </li> <li> <div>Make recommendations to the Executive Chef on activities, promotions, and menus, and implement them in line with annual marketing plans.</div> </li> <li> <div>Manage food production and ensure all dishes consistently meet expected quality standards.</div> </li> <li> <div>Assist with cost control and reduce food waste.</div> </li> <li> <div>Ensure adherence to HACCP standards, maintaining personnel, physical, and environmental hygiene; supervise daily grooming of departmental employees.</div> </li> <li> <div>Develop, motivate, supervise, and coach departmental staff to foster a culture aligned with our mission, vision, values, and core HSH principles.</div> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>General Requirements</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <div>Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience gained from a luxury hotel or similar establishment, with Southeast Asian cuisine exposure.</div> </li> <li> <div>Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations and production skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong experience in menu planning and cost control.</div> </li> <li> <div>Knowledge of HACCP systems and ISO 22000 is an advantage.</div> </li> <li> <div>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.</div> </li> <li> <div>Innovative, open-minded, and proactive.</div> </li> <li> <div>Good command of spoken and written English.</div> </li> </ul><style type="text/css">.responsive { width: 100%; max-width: 550px; height: auto; } </style> <p style="text-align:center"> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><img class="responsive" src="https://performancemanager10.successfactors.com/doc/custom/hshmanagemD/TRBbenefits2024-GS.gif"></p> <p style="text-align:center"> </p>
