<p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Overview of the role</b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">We are looking for a passionate individual who will ensure proper and timely recording of hotel revenue, supervise the works of the auditor and coordinate with other departments on matters relating to audit transactions and findings.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>Key Accountabilities:</b></span></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Assists the Management in reviewing the daily revenue of the Hotel by preparing the Daily Sales Statistics (DSS) report which reflects all the revenue of the Hotel on a daily, month-to-date, and year-to-date basis and reveals the variance of the revenue against the budget (month-to-date) and last year’s revenue (month-to-date).</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Checks the accuracy of reports and makes the necessary adjustments to correct any discrepancies.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Checks the validity of transactions and verifies supports and approvals.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Periodically reviews the related results of Risk Management audits and external audits to ensure that the hotel consistently complies with established policy and procedures.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls to make sure that they are current and up to date, adequate, functional and utilized in accordance with standards established by the Hotel.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px"><b>General Requirements:</b></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or BS Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Should have at least 2-3 years experience in the same capacity</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Above average knowledge of a hotel’s revenue process and documentation requirements.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Knowledgeable in Opera, Infrasys and Sun systems and Microsoft applications</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Good oral and written communication skills</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Excellent Supervisory and interpersonal skills</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:14.0px">Responsible, hardworking, with good analytical ability, organized, motivated and a team player</span></span></li> </ul> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>The Peninsula Manila </strong></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Located in Makati City's bustling business district, The Peninsula Manila has epitomised luxury and sophistication in the Philippines for over 40 years.
