<p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (“HSH” – owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is seeking to hire a highly motivated Project Manager to lead our Finance Transformation initiatives. The role serves as a vital bridge between Finance and IT, driving the modernisation of our financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities. This role will be engaged as an independent contractor.</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work for a prestigious, globally renowned hospitality and luxury property group</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Role is based in Hong Kong.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead and support Group-level finance transformation projects from start to finish; monitor and track project milestones, mitigate risks and issues to ensure delivery within established timelines and budgets.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Review existing finance processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate closely with the Finance teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Oversee the implementation and enhancement of financial systems / tools for Group accounting, financial consolidation, managerial reporting and budgeting & forecasting.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Coordinate data migration and retention, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and precise mapping from legacy platforms to new systems.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Facilitate change management by coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and delivering comprehensive end-user training and materials for new tools.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support go-live activities for system rollout and post-implementation reviews to sustain transformation benefits.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist in the preparation and delivery of clear, comprehensive presentations and project updates for Steering Committees, senior management, and end-users.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>General Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Technology.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">3+ years of project management experience in finance transformation, accounting, or ERP system implementations.
