<p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Sales with strong expertise in the travel trade and wholesale segment, and a genuine passion for driving business through key distribution channels.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Supports the development and execution of the annual Marketing & Sales Plan, with a focus on travel trade, wholesale, and key account strategies.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Actively contributes to achieving Sales & Marketing targets by strengthening partnerships with travel agents, wholesalers, tour operators, and global distribution partners.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develops, maintains, and expands a robust database of travel trade and wholesale accounts, identifying new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Manages and conducts site inspections, familiarization trips, and client entertainment to showcase the hotel’s unique offerings to trade partners.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Monitors market trends, competitor activities, and shifts in travel distribution channels.
