Role Purpose The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner. Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Contract Specialist Team. The Contract Specialist needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within IT Category. Main responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Accountable for end-to-end contract management process (elaboration, approval, signature) in close cooperation and under the guidance of clients’ legal teams.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Supporting the Sourcers in identifying the appropriate templates and in drawing up contracts based on client’s standard terms and conditions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist & advise the Sourcers in the contractual negotiations of the terms and conditions, if needed, with the purpose of achieving optimal compliance and contractual outcomes in line with client’s standards and requirements – but also to accelerate the processing of contracts.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Review, approve and negotiate contracts in accordance with the terms and conditions as defined by client by identifying and raising risks associated with any agreement (in line with Chain IQ’s scope of responsibility).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Assist requesters with any question related to the contracting process.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure that the contracts are compliant with regulatory, audit and policy requirements as defined by client.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the implementation of new regulatory or contracting policies and procedures for evaluating risk and approving contracts.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Identify improvements/ simplification or efficiency of the contract standard templates and flagging those to Chain IQ management for discussion with the clients.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Adhere to the client’s corporate standards including using the defined contract templates, pre-defined clauses and sourcing tools and processes in delivery of sourcing initiatives.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Provide training and guidance to the Chain IQ Sourcing community on contractual topics, as required.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Establish and maintain strong relationships with Chain IQ sources, client and supplier stakeholders, specifically client legal teams.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure functional KPI`s, SLA`s and other performance objectives are met (if any).</li> </ul> Requirements <ul> <li>3+ years’ experience in Contract Management within IT Category</li> <li>Strong understanding of end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes</li> <li>Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT contracts</li> <li>Solid knowledge of regulatory, audit and compliance standards</li> <li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills• Ability to advise Sourcers and internal clients on contractual risks</li> <li>Strong analytical mindset with ability to identify process improvements</li> <li>Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage (DE, FR)</li> </ul> Join a truly global team.
