Here, your voice matters — bold thinking is encouraged, and action follows ambition.<br><br><br></p> </div><h2><strong>About the role<br><br></strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a <strong>Sourcing Logistics Expert</strong> to <strong>lead and own</strong> the end-to-end sourcing and lifecycle management of airport ground service equipment used in aircraft servicing operations.</p> <p>This role focuses on high loaders, trucks, trailers, and related special-purpose vehicles, covering the full lifecycle: sourcing, commercial structuring, fleet strategy, maintenance concepts, and cost optimization.</p> <p>We are open to candidates from sourcing, logistics procurement, fleet management, or commercial/sales roles within OEMs or service providers — provided you bring strong commercial judgment, <strong>independent ownership</strong>, and a lifecycle mindset.<br><br></p> <hr> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Lead regional sourcing initiatives</strong> for airport ground equipment (high loaders, trucks, trailers, fleet solutions).</li> <li><strong>Own and drive</strong> the development and execution of transport and warehouse sourcing strategies, with strong emphasis on: <ul> <li>Road transport (linehaul, local distribution, airport transfers)</li> <li>Air freight and courier services</li> <li>Time-critical and airport-constrained logistics solutions</li> <li>Warehousing (frozen, chilled, ambient)</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Drive spend analysis</strong>, identify cost drivers, and deliver measurable savings and optimization outcomes.</li> <li><strong>Lead sourcing events end-to-end</strong> (RFI, RFP, negotiations, eAuctions where applicable).</li> <li><strong>Own strategic supplier relationships</strong> across OEMs, dealers, leasing companies, and service providers.</li> <li><strong>Act as the primary commercial interface</strong> between internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, safety, finance) and external partners.</li> <li><strong>Define and implement fleet strategies</strong>, including lifecycle, maintenance concepts, and total cost of ownership optimization.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with local regulations, airport standards, and safety requirements.</li> <li><strong>Influence decision-making</strong> through data-driven insights and strong stakeholder engagement.<br><br></li> </ul> <hr> <h2><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong></h2> <ul> <li>University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent professional experience.</li> <li><strong>Minimum 6+ years of experience</strong> in: <ul> <li>Strategic sourcing or category management</li> <li>Logistics sourcing, fleet sourcing, or heavy equipment categories</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proven track record of <strong>leading sourcing events and negotiations independently</strong></li> <li>Experience in managing or sourcing vehicle fleets or logistics assets</li> <li>Strong exposure to road transport and time-critical logistics; air freight is a plus</li> <li>Experience in aviation, food logistics, FMCG, or similarly complex operational environments is highly desirable</li> <li>Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate insights into commercial actions</li> <li>Fluent in English<br><br></li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black;background-color:white"><strong>Join a truly global team.</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt;color:black;background-color:white">We offer a dynamic and international environment where high performance meets real purpose.
