Role Purpose The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner. We are currently seeking a Manager to join the IT Technology Services Category. The Head Sourcing Technology Services / Strategic Sourcer needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within IT Category. Main Responsibilities: Execute Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: <ul> <li>Manage end-to-end sourcing engagements across IT Category — from opportunity identification to contract execution, tailored to each client’s unique needs.</li> </ul> Deliver Cost Optimization & Value Creation: <ul> <li>Identify and implement sustainable cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation opportunities through advanced negotiation strategies and supplier collaboration.</li> </ul> Develop Strategic Supplier Relationships: <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional suppliers; monitor market trends, innovations, and competitive landscapes across APAC markets.</li> </ul> Manage Complex Procurement Processes: <ul> <li>Lead RFP/RFQ processes using digital tools, evaluate proposals, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal sourcing outcomes.</li> </ul> Contract Development & Negotiation: <ul> <li>Draft and negotiate commercial agreements aligned with client templates, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance standards.</li> </ul> Cross-Regional Collaboration: <ul> <li>Work closely with global Chain IQ teams to harmonize sourcing approaches, share best practices, and ensure consistency across geographies and client portfolios.</li> </ul> Performance Reporting & Insights <ul> <li>Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting on sourcing performance, including savings tracking, ROI analysis, and vendor performance metrics using Chain IQ and client platforms.</li> </ul> Leadership & People Management <ul> <li>Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.</li> <li>Cultural sensitivity and value alignment for global teams.</li> </ul> Strategic Thinking <ul> <li>Align team objectives with organizational goals.</li> <li>Drive category strategies and sourcing initiatives (for procurement/IT contexts)</li> </ul> Technical & Domain Expertise <ul> <li>Solid understanding of relevant technical areas (e.g., IT infrastructure, software development, or sourcing processes).</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and guide technical decisions.</li> </ul> Communication Skills <ul> <li>Clear and effective communication with stakeholders and team members.</li> <li>Ability to present updates, negotiate with vendors, and manage escalations.</li> </ul> Organizational & Planning Skills <ul> <li>Competence in project management, resource allocation, and workload balancing.</li> <li>Familiarity with tools for tracking KPIs and progress.</li> </ul> Adaptability & Problem-Solving <ul> <li>Ability to handle dynamic environments and unexpected challenges.</li> <li>Proactive in removing barriers and securing resources for the team.</li> </ul> Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>7+ years of progressive experience in sourcing and procurement within IT Category and related services, with expertise in categories such as IT Software, IT Hardware, IT Outsourcing and Telco.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and deliver measurable cost savings across multiple client environments.</li> <li>Prior leadership experience in similar roles (IT, sourcing, or technical teams).</li> <li>Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently.</li> <li>Demonstrated success in supplier relationship management and category strategy development.</li> <li>Positive energy and engagement (“can-do” attitude).</li> <li>Experience with leading-edge sourcing technologies (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP, Ivalua) preferred.</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across cultures and time zones.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills to manage client priorities under tight deadlines.</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field).
