Position Overview: This is a leadership position responsible for the implementation of EHS and waste management programs. Responsible for Radiation and Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection at the BWXT Medical site in Vancouver, BC, ensuring compliance with requirements of the facility operations licence issued by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. The position includes accountability for waste management with a focus on radioactive waste characterization, segregation, storage for decay, clearance and disposal.
