Activates reorder points where judgment determines an anticipated shortfall.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Prepares detailed production schedules in accordance with required volumes, plant capacity and materials availability.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Enters specific sales orders into the master schedule based on requested customer delivery dates, availability of raw materials, and equipment.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Assists in maintaining the master production schedule for the facility, reviewing daily to adjust for changes in customer requirements, delay in receiving raw materials, availability of production equipment, etc.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborates with more experienced engineers in deciding the use of production machines, equipment and tools, and determines their technological conditions and quality parameters.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Assist Senior Production planner resolves issues with suppliers relative to material availability and quality.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Identifies and communicates material supply issues that may affect production schedules.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Helps analyze and eliminate slow-moving and obsolete inventory.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Reviews monthly marketing forecasts, and adjusts master schedules accordingly.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Assist with and analyze MRP and forecast data, generate purchase orders, and manage Kanban’s to meet production needs with minimal inventory investment.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Assists with coordinating material shipments with internal and external logistics services.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Manages raw and finished goods inventory.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Other responsibilities may be assigned as Helvetica, sans-serif">Experience in manufacturing, production planning, and materials control function.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Extensive hands-on experience with MS Office, internet browsers, and computerized production planning system such as MRP II.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to analyze situations and react in a timely manner necessary.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Execeptional customer orientation, sense of urgency, and problem solving skills.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">SAP experience or other transportation management system experience preferred.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)
