The candidate will work to interpret the financial data to make appropriate recommendations to sales and financial management. The Senior Analyst of Commercial Finance will work closely with and become a trusted business partner to our sales & marketing teams; as well as become a trusted member of our finance team.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in the forecasting and strategic/annual plan process for retail sales organization and cost centers</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Complete the financial reporting and analysis function for the consumer sales organization, including sales, profit margins and selling and administrative expense.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Complete accounting close process for expense and gross to net, including review of various accruals/ journal entries, reporting of actual results to internal stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Responsible for producing and analyzing financial data for the business, including variance analysis to budget and prior year.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the consumer commercial leaders in decision making process using financial data and analytics to support position & recommendations.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to effectively partner and communicate with commercial leaders, ROI analysis, pricing principles, understanding of route to market and managing customer terms and relationships.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ownership & management of Consumer channels Accounts Receivable; including but not limited to managing aged AR balances & associated action plans to mitigate bad debt risk.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Responsible for review of processing of contractual programs and account deductions.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Continually evaluate the departmental functions, practices, and controls to identify opportunity for improvement.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure consistent, reliable, and timely information is distributed to all financial statement users.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Prepare and post journal entries;
