The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the standards and operations of our accommodation services, ensuring a high level of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. As an Accommodation Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our holiday fleet to the highest standards, both during peak season and in preparation for seasonal changes.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Duties</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Prioritise guest satisfaction by always ensuring professional and courteous communication.</li> <li>Assist in pre-season preparations and winter close-down tasks, including setting up and securing accommodations, managing inventory, and completing necessary maintenance tasks.</li> <li>Train, support, and monitor the cleaning team to ensure they meet company standards of cleanliness and safety.</li> <li>Ensure the cleaning team complies with Health & Safety standards and COSHH regulations; obtain relevant risk assessments and method statements from contractors.</li> <li>Manage key handling, inventory management, and the upkeep of safety equipment such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.</li> <li>Ensure all accommodations are inspected and meet company standards before guest check-in, and that any maintenance issues are promptly reported and addressed.</li> <li>Oversee the linen process and ensure all housekeeping areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-organised in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.</li> <li>Oversee staffing levels, including recruitment, scheduling, and rota management, to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.</li> <li>Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and condition of all accommodations, ensuring they meet company standards.</li> <li>Greet and communicate with guests professionally and courteously, delivering exceptional guest service.</li> <li>Lead pre-season preparations, including setting up the fleet, managing inventory deliveries, and ensuring all units are guest ready.</li> <li>Oversee winter closedown activities, ensuring all accommodations are properly secured, cleaned, and prepared for the off-season.</li> <li>Manage linen stock levels and the overall linen process to ensure efficient operation.</li> <li>Foster strong communication and collaboration with the Holiday Service team to maintain the highest operational standards for the hire fleet.</li> <li>Ensuring all keys are always safeguarded and accounted for.</li> <li>Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-organised.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or accommodation sector.</li> <li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li> <li>Commitment to delivering high standards of guest service.</li> <li>Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Flexibility to work during peak season and manage off-season preparations.</li> <li>This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.</li> </ul> </div></div></div><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p>At Park Holidays UK, you'll be part of an industry-leading organisation where you'll be challenged, inspired, rewarded, and empowered to grow.
