<p>$18-$19 per hour</p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Overview</b></H3> </div><div>The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating engaging activities, events, and programs that enhance the well-being, social interaction, and enjoyment of guests and residents at Sun's resorts and communities.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Duties</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Creates, plans, coordinates, and attends all activities such as, picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners (Essential)</li> <li>Sets-up and cleans-up after events (Essential)</li> <li>Provides leadership, motivation, training and support to team members (Essential)</li> <li>Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests (Essential)</li> <li>Be a role model for Sun standards and reputation (Essential)</li> <li>Helps to maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance, vendor utilization, income, and expenses for each activity</li> <li>Assists with ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner; documents all payments</li> <li>Ensure a high standard of activities, services, and products are being offered</li> <li>Assists with producing a calendar of events for the next calendar season, while ensuring to stay within budget expectations</li> <li>Purchase supplies to ensure activities & group events are carried out successfully</li> <li>Assists with preparing the weekly newsletter and distributes to resort residents and guests</li> <li>Helps with and organizes fundraising activities to support the department</li> <li>Maintains accurate office and activity supply inventories</li> <li>Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED (Required)</li> <li>Ability to work well independently as well as on a team</li> <li>Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to negotiate prices/contracts on behalf of the resort</li> <li>Strong organization skills</li> <li>Must have a valid driver's license</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>REWARDING BENEFITS</strong></p> <p>At Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
