<p>$17-$18 per hour</p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Overview</b></H3> </div><div>Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning community facilities and buildings to ensure the community remains presentable and sanitary at all times.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Duties</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Cleans, sanitizes and stocks kitchen areas with paper products (Essential)</li> <li>Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)</li> <li>Cleans, sanitizes and stocks bathrooms, including ensuring they are well lit and rubber mats are in place to ensure safety (Essential)</li> <li>Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Immediately reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, incidents/accidents, and/or defective equipment to Community Manager or immediate supervisor (Essential)</li> <li>Ensures the general property appearance is well maintained and orderly</li> <li>Sweeps, mops, waxes, and buffs floors as needed</li> <li>Cleans windows and screens, ensuring they are in functioning order</li> <li>Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and handling routine maintenance</li> <li>Ensures all offices are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed</li> <li>Ensures that all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED (Required)</li> <li>6 months in previous experience cleaning homes, apartments, or other large facilities (Preferred)</li> <li>Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet</li> <li>Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs</li> <li>Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial work</li> <li>Must have a valid driver's license</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>REWARDING BENEFITS</strong></p> <p>At Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
