Together, we can achieve great things.</span></span></p> <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Summary</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Location: Marietta, OH</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all power plant equipment and assist with maintenance tasks assigned.</span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure that the powerhouse assets are operated in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Participate in company safety programs and policies to promote a safe and healthy work environment </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Performs inspections, water analysis, and troubleshooting, to optimized plant performance </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Monitoring of operating parameters and recording operating data, including production efficiencies, electrical usage, pressures, temperatures, vibration indications, alarms and other pertinent information related to the safe operation of the power plant equipment </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">O&amp;M Technicians will be required to promptly notify the Plant Manager/Assistant Plant Manager of any unusual, abnormal, or potentially unsafe operating conditions and take appropriate action to mitigate any potentially unsafe condition or condition that if otherwise not corrected could result in out of specification system production </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Performs scheduled and un-scheduled plant maintenance to optimize plant availability and improve cost effectiveness </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Operation and routine maintenance associated with water treatment equipment. These activities will include the routine monitoring of water quality and the performance of routine maintenance of water treatment equipment </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The de-energization (lock-out/tag-out) of all equipment within the scope of responsibility pertaining to the power plant assets that is required to allow the safe performance of maintenance on such equipment </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Perform routine (planned maintenance) on all power plant equipment, including predictive, preventive, and minor corrective maintenance. Will also be required to assist contractors with work that is beyond the capability of the Operations &amp; Maintenance Tech, including tasks such as gas turbine, steam turbine maintenance etc. </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The recording and documenting of all maintenance activities that are performed on power plant equipment. This includes utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to electronically document information and historical data </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Perform troubleshooting and correcting problems related to the proper monitoring, control, and operation of power plant equipment </span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Maintain a clean and orderly work area ensuring that the area is left in an unobstructed and safe condition following the completion of maintenance / repair tasks </span></span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Minimum Education &amp; Experience Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">A high school diploma or equivalent is required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Four years of relevant work experience in a central utility plant, power plant, or similar heavy industrial environment is required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">A minimum of a 3rd Class State of Ohio Stationary Engineer license is required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and perform basic mathematical calculations is required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Must be available for call outs, scheduled overtime, weekend, and holiday work.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Physical Demands &amp; Working Conditions</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">The physical demands characterized here epitomize those that must be met by an employee to properly perform the integral functions of this job.
