Work is performed under the direction of a GCCS Manager, with work results reviewed through the achievement of set goals and adherence to policies and procedures.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conducts day-to-day maintenance, and repair of a landfill gas (LFG) collection system </span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs inspections and maintenance on wells, pumps, well head assemblies, air and force main, all piping repairs under 6” in diameter, etc.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs well pump repairs and rebuilds as needed</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs well pump installation per PM schedule</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs well extensions as needed</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Performs quarterly well sounding</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Adheres to company and project specific health and safety requirements; participates in monthly safety audits and inspections</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Maintains administrative records including logbook, filing system for drawings, instruction books and manuals, spare parts inventory, and records</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Supports and assists the work of contractors on-site</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Routinely operates a motor vehicle and/or off-road vehicle on undeveloped terrain</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work independently with little or no supervision</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Complete other activities as directed by the GCCS Manager</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Minimum Education & Experience Requirements</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">High school diploma or equivalent</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Possesses a valid driver’s license and good driving record</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">At least one year of mechanical or construction experience</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and recommend sound alternatives</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to work overtime including call outs outside of normal business hours, weekends, and holidays</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Other Qualifications</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Preferred:</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Previous military experience</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">A technical degree or certificate in an electrical or mechanical field is preferable, or equivalent work experience with electrical and mechanical systems</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Familiar with gas compression and/or gas transportation</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Physical Demands & Working Conditions</H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">The physical demands characterized here epitomize those that must be met by an employee to properly perform the integral functions of this job.
