The NPS-V Driver plays a pivotal role in the transportation of employees and stakeholders to and from Non-Passenger Screening-Vehicle (NPS-V) checkpoints. Additionally, the driver is responsible for maintaining an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP) issued by the airport authority, conducting daily vehicle inspections, coordinating vehicle maintenance and rental vehicles, ensuring vehicle cleanliness, transporting consumable supplies, and completing required paperwork and filing. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Safely transport employees and stakeholders to and from NPS-V checkpoints </li> <li>Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic rules, Airport Authority regulations, and internal Garda World regulations. </li> <li>Obtain and maintain a valid Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP) issued by the airport authority. </li> <li>Ensure that screening operations are uninterrupted while transiting employees from one screening location to another. </li> <li>Conduct regular inspections of the assigned vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards, </li> <li>Coordinate regular maintenance and necessary repairs with appropriate facilities.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior</li> <li>Transport consumable supplies to designated locations.</li> <li>Complete all documents and reports regularly and ensure all documentation is filed according to industry standards. </li> </ul> Qualifications & Requirements: <ul> <li>Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record</li> <li>Maintain an Airside Vehicle Operators permit (AVOP) issued by the airport authority. </li> <li>Ability to obtain and retain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Transport Canada Clearance</li> <li>Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations</li> <li>Ability to work with a flexible schedule and adapt to changing needs. </li> </ul> <a name="_Hlk97806025">Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</a> <ul> <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle operational challenges and escalations.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with screening personnel and stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.</li> <li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including irregular shifts.</li> <li>Commitment to maintaining certification and meeting training obligations as per CATSA requirements.</li> <li>Works well in a team environment. </li> <li>Strong integrity and ability to follow directives </li> </ul> Competencies <ul> <li>Technical: Demonstrate a solid understanding of Garda World, CATSA, and Airport authority rules and regulations.
